DSCR employees help clean up along James River

RICHMOND, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency employees from Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, participated in the James River Regional Cleanup hosted by the James River Advisory Council Sep. 14 at Falling Creek Ironworks Park in North Chesterfield County. The river clean-up, which resulted in the collecting of more than 100 bags of trash, was part of a larger initiative sponsored by the James River Advisory Council that included similar activities throughout seventeen locations around the state of Virginia.

Distribution San Joaquin’s Maldonado retires after 51 years of combined service

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Having served a combined 51 years as a federal civilian and military service member, Richard Maldonado, equal employment specialist, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution San Joaquin, California, is retiring.Maldonado served four years active duty in the U.S. Air Force and then 16 years in the Air Force Reserve. While in uniform he served in the
