DLA Energy Europe and Africa changes leadership

KLEBER-KASERNE, Germany — In a time-honored tradition, DLA Energy Europe & Africa Commander Army Lt. Col. Donna Welch transferred her authority and responsibility during a virtual change of command ceremony on Kleber-Kaserne, Germany, June 4. Incoming Commander Army Lt. Col. Benverren Fortune joins the DLA Energy team from DLA Troop Support Europe & Africa, where he served as Operations Officer since 2019.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Former Defense Logistics Agency Director Army Lt. Gen. Donald Babers, who led the agency through rapid growth in material management and contract administration from 1984 to 1986, is among nine inductees into the 2020 DLA Hall of Fame.

Expeditionary training facility dedicated to former DLA employee Krissie K. Davis

CAMP ATTERBURY, Ind. — Davis was killed while on deployment to Afghanistan in 2015. DLA leaders and family members gathered to help memorialize her at Indiana's Camp Atterbury June 3.
