Leadership Working Group Forum reminds supervisors “why” all job rolls are important

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Leadership Working Group held its first in-person forum since 2020, during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sep. 20 in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The event was also available via web stream and dial in for supervisors whose offices are in regions outside of Virginia.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Sean Tyler spent two days meeting those who support the warfighters at DLA Aviation at Warner Robins, Georgia, Sept. 7 and 8. DLA Aviation at Warner Robins Commander Air Force Col. Brian Mayer hosted Tyler during his visit.

A handful of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Jacksonville, Florida employees and their relatives put on their physical activity gear, laced up their sneakers and pounded the pavement to bring awareness to the importance of heart health by participating in the American Heart Society’s annual First Coast Heart Walk held at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds Sept. 10.
