Army Col. inducted into Hall of Fame

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Surrounded by colleagues, family and friends, retired Army Col. Robert Jarvis was inducted into the third annual Defense Logistics Agency Energy Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Oct. 23 for his legacy, which defined the history of DLA Energy and set the standard for today’s warfighter energy solutions.

PHILADELPHIA — The Army’s newest colonel is Abel Young. The director of DLA Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain was promoted in front of family and friends in Philadelphia Oct. 25.

More than a century of service recognized at Troop Support retirement ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support honored three employees for their 110 years of combined federal service during a retirement ceremony Oct. 25. Debra Tillman, Mary Newell and Bernice Eaddy-Brown, each with more than 30 years of federal service, were recognized for their contributions to the agency.

DLA Energy helps deployed Marines customize fuel to their needs while in the field.

USACE has received 7 FEMA Mission Assignments (7 active, 6 closed), totaling more than $10.5 million for disaster response to Hurricane Michael-damaged areas. One of those missions is to provide Temporary Emergency Power.
