Aviation - Cherry Point bids farewell to Neuman, welcomes Klemm as new commander

Installation Support enforces Real ID Act for Virginia license holders beginning July 10

Richmond, Virginia — Employees following the Real ID Act implementation for family members whose only ID is issued by Virginia need to know that the extension issued for Virginia by the Department of Homeland Security expired June 6. Virginia is one of several states currently non-compliant with the Act.

San Diego’s culture committee teams up with local NPOs

San Diego — The Culture Committee at Defense Logistics Agency Aviation-San Diego collaborated with a local non-profit organization and held a clothing drive in May to provide baby items for newborn to 1-year-olds throughout San Diego County.

The Fort Polk Garrison Commander and Louisiana Congressional representatives attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for two newly constructed Wastewater Treatment Plants at Fort Polk, Louisiana, May 24. DLA Energy Utility Services provided the contract for the two WWTPs that will treat 6.4 million gallons of wastewater per day. This project will improve Fort Polk’s mission assurance and have a positive environmental impact for more than 50 years.
