Toomey advisor meets with DLA Distribution leadership on MILCON projects, economic impact
NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Sam Amber, national security advisor for U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, R-Pa., visited the midstate on October 11 meet with the leadership of DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
DLA Distribution San Joaquin’s executive officer “takes the rock”
TRACY, Calif. — Always pushing herself to exceed her physical ability, DLA Distribution San Joaquin, California’s executive officer, Air Force Capt. Dawn Pieper, recently checked another block on her list of accomplishments. Pieper completed the grueling “Take the Rock” 1.3 mile swim through the San Francisco Bay. The course started at Alcatraz Island and ended at Aquatic Park in San Francisco, California.

Susquehanna’s Dixon awarded 2017 Spirit of Courage Award

San Joaquin provides critical support to firefighters during devastating wildfire season

DLA Distribution Albany ships over 80,000 meals to feed those affected by hurricanes
ALBANY, Ga. — Hurricane Harvey, a Category 4 major hurricane forming Aug. 17, and making landfall in Southern Texas on Aug. 25, was an extremely destructive Atlantic hurricane, becoming the first major hurricane to make landfall in the United States since Wilma in 2005, ending a record 12-year drought in which no hurricanes had made landfall at such an intensity in the country.
