MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — On a cold and blustery late November day, Parachute Rigger team members from the DLA Distribution Susquehanna Pennsylvania, gathered to prepare for a military free fall qualification jump over Paddy’s field in the township of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

DLA personnel brave Belgian cold, honor WWII heroes in memorial walk

Members of the DLA Europe & Africa team braved winter weather Dec. 16 to participate in the 40th Annual Bastogne Memorial Walk in Belgium, commemorating the heroic stand made by U.S. and British forces during the Ardennes Offensive — also known as the Battle of the Bulge.

USASAC Commanding General and Command Sergeant Major visits DLA Distribution

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — U.S. Army Security Assistance Command’s commanding general, Maj. Gen. Stephen Farmen, and Command Sgt. Major Gene Canada, visited DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 15. Their day began with a command brief presented by Col. Brad Eungard, DDSP Commander, followed by a tour of facilities on the New Cumberland Depot.
