8th Theater Sustainment Command’s Command Sergeant Major tours DDSP

Jacinto Garza, 8th Theater Sustainment Command’s, Command Sergeant Major, has been in his position at Fort Shafter, Hawaii for just a short time -- seven months. In his first couple of months on duty there, he toured the Pacific Command Area to get an idea of the common operating picture.

Oklahoma City distribution center hosts Disposition Enterprise Rotation Program participant

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is currently participating in the DLA Enterprise Rotation Program. Miguel Rocha, a major command representative with Disposition Services has been assigned to Distribution from January 2018 to December 2018.

Training participants view common consumer goods that have historically been used to create Improvised Explosive Devices.

Headquarters employees reach great heights in fitness challenge

Twenty teams and 11 individuals tested their intestinal fortitude and structural integrity of the McNamara Headquarters staircases as they competed in the annual Climb Mount Everest challenge from Dec. 4, 2017, to Jan. 12, 2018. The event helps promote workforce resiliency, in line with the goals of the DLA People and Culture Plan.
