Fort Belvoir, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency is giving state and local government organizations a new option for purchasing non-medical personal protective equipment through the COVID-19 Contingency Corridor in FedMall, the government e-commerce platform for the military services and federal, state and local government agencies.

NORFOLK, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Norfolk, Virginia’s Pier 8 is a hotbed of activity every summer in preparation of Operation Pacer Goose, an annual resupply mission to Thule Air Base, a remote U.S. Air Force base in the Arctic region of Greenland.

DLA San Joaquin Firefighters assist in saving homes

TRACY, Calif. — The fire crew at Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management San Joaquin’s Fire Station 262 were dispatched for mutual aid by South San Joaquin County Dispatch in the late afternoon of July 5. They were later called out for a second alarm working residential structure fire in the city of Tracy, California.

Reventlow returns to DLA Distribution as Commanding General

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — In a virtual ceremony signifying a change of leadership at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Headquarters in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, DLA Distribution Acting Director, Perry L. Knight, passed the helm to Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Keith D. Reventlow, July 21. Acting DLA Director, Michael D. Scott, Senior Executive Service, presided over the ceremony via video teleconference from DLA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.

Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Richmond’s Warehouse 11 is considered a historic building at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — From gowns, gloves and pharmaceuticals for the USS Comfort and Mercy to decontamination systems for medical workers’ N95 masks, America’s small businesses are helping meet the nation’s demand for COVID-19 supplies.

DLA medical logistics team provides personal protective equipment to new COVID hotspots

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency is providing much needed personal protective equipment and test supplies to state and local hotspots as COVID-19 cases continue rising in the U.S. The DLA Troop Support medical team worked with DLA Distribution during the July 4 holiday to fulfill multiple requests for items used at test sites in Texas, Florida and Louisiana.
