Troop Support’s Medical supply chain director briefs Special Operations Command

Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Medical supply chain Director briefed a United States Special Operations Command class on the agency’s medical materiel resources last month in Tampa, Florida.

DLA and VHA sign 10-year, $3.6B partnership agreement

DLA Troop Support to observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month throughout April

PHILADELPHIA — Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month is upheld by the military and civilian agencies during the month of April. In keeping with the SAAPM theme of previous years, “Step Forward. Prevent. Report. Advocate”, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support will hold events all month long.

Troop Support’s Medical completes first containerized modular clinics order via ECAT to Army National Guard

For the first time, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical supply chain procured two containerized modular clinics using the DLA Medical Electronic Catalog Program, a web-based purchasing platform.

PHILADELPHIA — There were cheers, pompoms, and championship belts as Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support employees were honored for their achievements during the Commander’s Award Ceremony on March 11.

Subsistence supply chain wins triple crown at awards ceremony

Philadelphia — Employees of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain accomplished a clean sweep in the Team, Supervisor and Employee of the Year categories for the organization’s 2024 annual awards, on March 11.

DLA’s Automated One Time Buy Team earns agencywide accolades

RICHMOND, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency’s Enterprise Automated One Time Buy Procurement Team made significant strides in supporting the defense industrial base and meeting warfighter requirements, issuing over 400,000 solicitations and resulting in approximately 151,311 awards valued at $1.086 billion from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024. The team – comprised of 30 personnel from DLA Aviation, Land and Maritime and Troop Support – was recently recognized with the Acquisition Workforce Team Achievement during the 57th Annual Employee Recognition Program held Jan. 23 at DLA headquarters on Fort Belvoir.
