  • Governing Standards: All data elements are governed by the Accredited Standards Committee X12 (ASC X12) and the policies within DLM 4000.25, Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS). The ASC X12 is the governing source for X12, which is an electronic data interchange (EDI) standard.

DLA Disposition Services Field office uses with DSS-Ultimate Disposal to respond to DLA Disposition Services ICP (which uses EBS) to accept, deny, or request a change when EBS assigned Disposition Category Code DS-Disposal. DLA Disposition Services uses with Disposition Category Update transactions, for confiscated or captured foreign weapons, to identify the disposition LSN in addition to the SA/LW MCN cited in LIN02/LIN03 by qualifier ZZ.
