Systems using DoD data values and transacting using X12-based DLMS must implement three conversion guides. These conversion guides contain a cross reference between DoD code values and X12 code values. They allow conversion of outbound DoD data values to the corresponding X12 code values and vice versa for inbound data values. All three conversion guides are in the workbook.
DLSS/DLMS Crosswalk
A cross-reference of each legacy DLSS document identifier code (DIC) (e.g., A01) to DLMS transaction number (e.g., 511R).
The Logistics Metrics Analysis Reporting System (LMARS) uses data from DLMS and DTEB transactions to measure the logistics pipeline for wholesale-managed items (logistic response time (LRT)). Data is used to produce transaction counts and average processing times, in days, for the 12-segment life cycle of a requisition. The measurement begins with the serial (birth) date of the requisition and ends with a materiel receipt acknowledgement (MRA). Reports are produced monthly and are available on the LMARS website managed by DAAS.
