A roaring ‘Hooah!’ echoed throughout the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Operations Center Auditorium June 16 as a celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday commenced with a keynote from Army Brig. Gen. Matthew Woodruff, adjutant general of the Ohio National Guard.

The Defense Logistics Agency announced an upcoming shift to an automated technical data management system – or Technical Data Management Transformation – aimed to provide a faster, more efficient approach to item management, a critical advancement for DLA's vast operations.

Navy Rear Adm. Julie Treanor will assume command of Defense Supply Center Columbus and Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime in a ceremony slated for July 28. Treanor was most recently director for fleet ordnance and supply at U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia.
