Land Industry Support
Strong relationships with the Defense Department and industry partners are vital to DLA Land and Maritime's mission. In the coming years that insightful engagement will allow DLA Land and Maritime to anticipate and meet the demands of the diverse and constantly changing circumstances our warfighters face. Our knowledge about their strengths, challenges, and priorities, helps us make informed decisions in the development and delivery of the right solutions.
Our work with industry allows us to understand cost drivers, makes contract execution easier, and enables more efficient and effective production and acquisition methods. The increased understanding we gain through regular meetings and conferences, as well as in daily communications, lets us address concerns and leverage the knowledge gained, engage in information sharing, and improve support both before and after contract award.
