Navy Rear Adm. Julie Treanor will assume command of Defense Supply Center Columbus and Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime in a ceremony slated for July 28. Treanor was most recently director for fleet ordnance and supply at U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia.

Four leaders credited with monumental contributions to warfighter support were officially inducted into the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Hall of Fame May 28 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus. The Class of 2025 honorees are Mark Brown, Linda Kelly, Debbie Miller and Oscar Mitchell.

Kaitlynne Freitas is a current member of the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Pathways to Career Excellence program. She began her PACE journey in 2023 and will graduate this fall as a contract specialist.

Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Mechanicsburg recently awarded a $5 billion contract to six small businesses expediting support for Virginia-class submarines and active surface ships in a move set to significantly enhance the nation's maritime advantage.
