Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime employees gained deeper insight into DLA’s mission and culture during a READY Forum at the Operations Center Auditorium on Defense Supply Center Columbus Sept. 4.

For the first time, two Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime based organizations joined forces to bring a dynamic and immersive motivational experience to the agency’s workforce Sept. 2 in the Operations Center Auditorium. Headlined by former NFL offensive lineman and motivational speaker Shawn T. Harper, the event featured heartfelt speeches about discovering the leader within.

DLA Land and Maritime’s Acquisition Acceleration Team is transforming procurement to meet the evolving demands of modern warfare. Over the last several months, the team has implemented a comprehensive suite of innovative acquisition efficiency initiatives, resulting in significant benefits to both the warfighter and taxpayer through enhanced responsiveness and operational effectiveness.
