A family affair: Korea hosts husband and wife reenlistment ceremony

CAMP CARROLL, Korea — DLA Distribution Korea commander Army Lt. Col. Mark Wolf hosted a double reenlistment ceremony for his material management noncommissioned officer Army Sgt. Stephanie Swann and her husband Army Sgt. Jonathan Swann on March 7.

Norfolk’s chief of staff retires after 30 years of service

NORFOLK, Virginia — Navy Lt. Cmdr. Christopher S. Mayfield Sr., chief of staff at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Norfolk, Va., officially retired on April 1 after 30 years of service to the Navy. The ceremony was officiated by Navy Capt. Harry Thetford, commander of the distribution center.

Richmond price analyst named DLA Aviation’s February Employee of the Month

RICHMOND, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s February Employee of the Month is Dawn Hampton. She serves as a price analyst for DLA Aviation’s Procurement Process Support Directorate’s Pricing Division in Richmond, Virginia. DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Allan Day presented Hampton the award during a ceremony March 28.

DLA Distribution hosted students from the Navy Supply Corps School’s International Leadership Executive Advanced Development course on March 22.

International Leadership course visits DLA Distribution

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Foreign military officers enrolled in the Navy Supply Corps School’s International Leadership Executive Advanced Development course visited DLA Distribution March 22 to learn about DLA’s global distribution network and tour the Department of Defense’s largest distribution facility.
