DLA Energy receive quarterly command update

From across the globe, more than 615 DLA Energy employees participated in a virtual All Hands held from the Fort Belvoir McNamara Headquarters Complex auditorium Nov. 2. The workforce was updated on the DLA Energy 2021 Culture Action Plan, recent employee awards and recognition, and the COVID-19 vaccination documentation system.

WWII veteran’s grave rediscovered thanks to DLA Land and Maritime associate’s efforts

A Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime employee is generating a lot of buzz around the world this week. Army veteran and DLA Land and Maritime Customer Account Specialist Nathan Reynolds is being lauded across the globe for his instrumental efforts to rediscover the gravesite of World War II veteran Arthur Lewis and ensure the delivery of a proper gravestone marking his service.

As military COVID-19 vaccine mandate looms, DLA Distribution ships vaccines to overseas troops

To protect the force and defend the American people, Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III issued a memorandum directing full COVID-19 vaccinations for all U.S. Armed Forces Aug. 23. Since this mandate, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution has been working tirelessly to ship vaccines for unvaccinated deployed troops.
