Army medical maintenance teams provide 'invaluable' support to National Guard

REISTERSTOWN, Md. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Army website — With the overall goal of ensuring readiness for National Guard units across 23 states and territories, teams from Tobyhanna Army Depot in northeast Pennsylvania spend roughly 17 weeks a year on the road to handle medical maintenance tasks. In total, they aim to service some 6,000 to 8,000 pieces of equipment twice annually.

Rapid deployment team participates in Turbo Distribution 20-1

Fort Stewart, Georgia — Members of DLA's Rapid Deployment Blue Team applied their skills and expertise when they participated in TRANSCOM's Turbo Distribution 20-1 exercise at Fort Stewart, Georgia, Feb. 7-16.

Wellness program helps build teams, improve workplace culture

PHILADELPHIA — A new program featuring monthly “Wellness Wednesdays” is in full swing at the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support. Started in partnership with the Industrial Hardware Culture Improvement Team and IH employee Megan Ward, the program aims to improve workforce culture through monthly meetings focused on a variety of wellness tips and techniques shared by fellow employees.
