The Operational Camouflage Pattern uniform has arrived at Aviano Air Base

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Aviano Air Base website — The Aviano AAFES Military Clothing Sales staff was ready Monday morning Oct. 1 to start selling the new Operational Camouflage Pattern uniform.

Airmen at Aviano Air Base, Italy filled the Army and Air Force Exchange Service sales store to purchase the Operational Camouflage Pattern utility uniform October 1, 2018. DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles worked with its Air Force counterparts and other key stakeholders since April to ensure more than 17,000 uniforms were delivered to five military clothing sales stores, including Aviano Air Base, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina and MacDill AFB, Florida for the initial fielding.

Troop Support helps Airmen transition to new uniform from S.C. to Italy

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy — Six hours ahead of the Eastern time zone, Airmen at Aviano Air Base, Italy were the first to purchase the Operational Camouflage Pattern utility uniform October 1.

Beres is part of a team that inspects, tests and maintains ground equipment that supports aircraft maintenance and flying training operations.

This year’s theme encourages all Federal employees to “Show Some Love” by making a pledge to one or more of the many worthy charities who rely on CFC donations throughout the year.
