DLA Troop Support employee celebrated for four decades of service

PHILADELPHIA — While for some, 1984 brings back memories of paying $1.10 for a gallon of gas or listening to Michael Jackson’s latest album, “Thriller,” for one Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support employee, that year began a four-decade career of federal service.

Soldiers with the 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, out of Fort Bliss, Texas, begin medical set return and retrograde operations at the Army Prepositioned Stocks in Korea, known as APS-4K, during Operation Pacific Fortitude.

The 138th Fighter Wing marked a significant milestone in its operational capabilities with the official opening of a new fuel complex and commercial inspection facility. , Aug. 13, 2024, at Tulsa Air National Guard Base, Okla. A ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorated the completion of this critical infrastructure project, underscoring the Wing’s commitment to mission readiness and support.
