DLA Aviation at Oklahoma City celebrates change of command and retirement

Richmond, Virginia — Employees at Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma City celebrated two ceremonies, the organization’s change of command and Col. Kenton Ruthardt’s retirement, June 23.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — To test the installation’s emergency and crisis response capabilities, Defense Logistics Agency Installation Support at Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, hosted an active shooter exercise June 8.

Brothers-in-arms retire together at DSCR

Richmond, Virginia — June 22, at high noon on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, was a special time for two Army officers as they marked the end of their collective 52-years of service in the Army during a combined retirement ceremony in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center.

The local Feds Feed Families food drive opened June 20, and Defense Logistics Agency employees in Philadelphia have already donated 962 pounds of food. Several employees and their families volunteered to decorate the collection boxes.

OCORT encourages teamwork, readiness

Industrial Hardware director retires from Air Force

PHILADELPHIA — The director of Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Industrial Hardware supply chain retired from the Air Force in a ceremony here June 22. Col. Glenn Chadwick served more than 27 years and will retire to Dallas.

DLA Troop Support hosted a groundbreaking ceremony June 26 to mark the start of construction on a new headquarters building on NSA Philadelphia. Pictured from left to right are: Richard Ellis, DLA Troop Support deputy commander, Tom Broadhurst, Daniel J. Keating Company vice president of operations; Army Brig. Gen. Charles Hamilton, DLA Troop Support commander; Navy Capt.
