FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — In this question and answer session, Doug Thomas, DLA Energy Strategic Programs and Policy Directorate program manager, discusses the charity he supports through CFC, the charity he supported in the past, and why it’s important to him.

Several members of DLA Troop Support’s Command Support Office contributed to a Continuous Process Improvement project to improve Defense Travel System compliance rates from 78 percent to 93 percent. Travel authorizations streamlined, DTS compliance rates improved

PHILADELPHIA — last minute, overseas mission was put into jeopardy earlier this year due to errors in employees’ Defense Travel System accounts. Scenarios like this caused two Troop Support employees to peak under the hood of DTS to find out why and fix it.

DLA, DHA save millions on military medical materiel through ECAT

Agency employees learn to value ‘sound of silence’

Improving communication among the workforce has long been a goal of the Defense Logistics Agency, and employees over the years have asked for instruction in American Sign Language to help them communicate with their deaf and hard-of-hearing coworkers.

NORFOLK, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Norfolk, Va., recently paused to promote two military personnel to the next higher rank. Both ceremonies were officiated by Navy Capt. Harry Thetford, commander of the distribution center.
