DLA Troop Support continues hurricane relief support

PHILADELPHIA — DLA Troop Support continues to manage the delivery of more than 30 million meals and 82 generators to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s hurricane relief efforts.

Sam Phillips, the emergency management officer for NSA-Philadelphia, addresses the audience at DLA Troop Support’s National Preparedness Month event Sept. 12. He said the top five hazards on the installation are severe winter weather, acts of terrorism, off-base hazmat accidents, active shooters and fires.
