Aviation Leader Commentary: Customer support specialists relentless in B-52 sustainment

Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma — DLA Aviation's customer support specialists are tireless and creative in making sure long-serving aircraft, such as the B-52 Stratofortress, are supported without delays.

Close to 40 military service members and civilians attended the three-day Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Academy in the McKeever Auditorium on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, July 19-21, 2016.

RICHMOND, VA — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Academy was held in the McKeever Auditorium on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, July 19-21.

Defense Logistics Agency’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter fiscal 2016, is DLA Aviation’s Air Force Capt. Broderick Morris, who is the B-2 weapons system program manager currently assigned to the Air Force Customer Facing Division in the Customer Operations Directorate.

Aviation customer service captain named DLA’s 2nd quarter CGO

Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter fiscal 2016, is DLA Aviation’s Air Force Capt. Broderick Morris, who is the B-2 weapons system program manager currently assigned to the Air Force Customer Facing Division in the Customer Operations Directorate. Morris was nominated and selected for his performance while deployed as a member of the DLA Support Team –Kuwait from January to March 2016.

Commander holds Town Hall in Richmond

Students learn about DLA careers

RICHMOND, Virginia — On July 14, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation hosted 40 rising junior and senior students from the Hanover Regional Governor’s School for Career and Technical Advancement three-week summer program. The students came to Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, to learn about the various career fields that encompass the DLA Aviation and DLA Installation Support at Richmond workforce.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation employee, Monica Warren is the executive assistant to the DLA Aviation Deputy Commander Charlie Lilli. She has been with DLA Aviation in Richmond, Virginia, for three months.
