Equipment from DLA Disposition Services helps keep south Florida community prepared for hurricanes

BATTLE CREEK, Michigan — While the East Coast cleans up from Hurricane Isaias, Florida first responders are already preparing for the next hurricane or other emergency that may arise, thanks in part to gear received from the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services.

NEWPORT, R.I. — The Defense Logistics Agency partnered with Air Force and Navy medical staffs in late June and early July to support COVID-19 screening at naval medical facilities in the Northeast.
