Outstanding employee recognized for years of service at DLA Distribution

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Matthew Williams, deputy director, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution plans, training and modernization, received the Meritorious Civilian Service award, November 20, at DLA Distribution headquarters in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. He also served as the acting director from December 2023 to November 2024.

TRACY, Calif. — A Defense Logistics Agency Distribution San Joaquin, California employee has been awarded the prestigious Carnegie Medal for an act of heroism in which he put his own life in danger while attempting to save the lives of others.
