DLA Distribution Europe hosts DLA Logistics Operations leadership

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, Europe, leadership hosted Air Force Maj. Gen. David Sanford, director, Logistics Operations, and commander, Joint Regional Combat Support, DLA, for a visit and site tour at the distribution center in Germersheim, Germany, Nov. 1.

DLA San Joaquin workforce spans multiple generations

TRACY, Calif. — Ever since its beginnings in 1942 as a part of the Army’s Quartermaster system, what is known today as Defense Logistics Agency Distribution San Joaquin has had a countless number of employees make up the workforce over more than eight decades. As a major employer in the local area, it’s no surprise that many who have sought employment at DLA San Joaquin were influenced to apply by a family member who already worked here.

Commander’s Cup encourages exercise, teamwork

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management at Susquehanna’s Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Susquehanna’s fitness program closed their 2024 Commander’s Cup series with the Grand Finale Remembrance Day 10k run held Sept. 11.

DLA Distribution Expeditionary deploys in support of Hurricane Helene relief efforts

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Expeditionary team deployed in support of a Federal Emergency Management Agency mission to establish a forward Incident Support Base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, following Hurricane Helene to receive, track and ship lifesaving commodities to aid those impacted by the storm’s destruction.
