The forum was an opportunity for agency-wide cohesive training on the complexities of official government travel.

DLA Distribution hosts safety experts to discuss best practices

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution played host to a meeting of the Susquehanna Valley Field Federal Safety Council at DLA Distribution Headquarters in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, July 25. The council, hosted by Zachariah Shaner, safety and occupational health manager, DLA Distribution, consists of local federal employees and safety and health professionals who collaborate to improve safety and health in the federal government.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — A nine-person team from Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Corpus Christi, Texas, executed a combat download of a damaged UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter from the U.S. Central Command area of operations to the Corpus Christi Army Depot for maintenance and repairs July 15.
