Logistics operations director focuses on Warehouse Management System, shipyard operations during West Coast trip

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — DLA's director of logistics operations toured DLA warehouses and met with agency and Navy leaders in Washington and California Feb. 6-9 during a trip to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Washington, and the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

DLA Distribution pilots new Warehouse and Transportation Management System at Corpus Christi site

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — DLA Distribution Corpus Christi, Texas, has launched a commercial, off-the-shelf Warehouse Management System- the first of its kind within the network. The system is designed to offer flexible, automated support for processing various goods movements and for managing stocks within the distribution center.
