PaCE Spotlight: Don Zimmerman

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Don Zimmerman participated in the Pathways to Career Excellence Program from 1989 to 1990 when it was the Corporate Intern Program. Currently, he is a program manager in the Development Branch at DLA Disposition Services and manages the Training and Operations Simulation Center located at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base in Michigan.

PaCE Spotlight: Brandon Awkerman

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Brandon Awkerman is in his second year of the Pathways to Career Excellence Program and is currently located at Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan. He is in the Contracting PaCE Program, so he will not be placed at a field site location during or after his participation in the PaCE Program. Brandon’s group had a unique experience in the program as they were in their first year of the program when the pandemic began.

Today, he works in the Contracting Directorate at DLA Disposition Services Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan.
