PaCE Spotlight: Karin DeGraw

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Karin DeGraw is a management and program analyst for the Process Excellence Team at Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan. She began the PaCE Program in 2017 and graduated in 2019.

PaCE Spotlight: Brandon Awkerman

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Brandon Awkerman is in his second year of the Pathways to Career Excellence Program and is currently located at Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan. He is in the Contracting PaCE Program, so he will not be placed at a field site location during or after his participation in the PaCE Program. Brandon’s group had a unique experience in the program as they were in their first year of the program when the pandemic began.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — DLA Disposition Services Operational Contracting Division Chief Daniel Schuemann participated in the Pathways to Career Excellence Program when it was still called the DLA Corporate Intern Program in 2004. Today, he works in the Contracting Directorate at DLA Disposition Services Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan.

He is currently in Battle Creek, Michigan, at Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services Headquarters for his first year in the program and is set to move to Jacksonville, Florida, for his second year.

She participated in the Intern program before it was renamed as the Pathways to Career Excellence Program between the years of 2007 and 2009. She also was the PaCE Program manager for two years.
