Adaptive acquisition: Unifying the interagency

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Defense Acquisition University speaks with two Defense Logistics Agency leaders to discuss their efforts to unify the interagency with agreements with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, integrating procurement and industrial base expansion, and best practices for succeeding as a joint agency.

Pentagon’s logistics agency plays key role in procuring, distributing limited pandemic supplies

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Defense Department’s leading logistics agency is playing a key role in the national coronavirus response as it purchases and distributes desperately needed medical supplies for DOD and federal agencies.

PHILADELPHIA — DLA Troop Support has purchased over 3 million antigen tests for distribution to nursing homes across the country to support the nation’s COVID-19 response.

Medical receives ‘best in class’ acquisition award

PHILADEPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency’s Electronic Catalog Program received the Office of Management and Budget Best-In-Class designation August 19.

Contractors supporting the 1st Theater Sustainment Command initiate response operations to support the Lebanon tragedy, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Aug. 5, 2020. 1st TSC Soldiers and contractors worked closely with their joint logistics enterprise partners, Defense Logistics Agency and the U.S. Central Command Deployment and Distribution Operation Center, in the coordination of receiving and staging the cases of meals and water for shipment to Lebanon.
