Pushing Cargo: 386th LRS, special handle

Autonomous Flight Technology to Provide Rapid Resupply for Marines

DLA, USTRANSCOM may soon benefit from fusion of commercial, gov transportation system

A major partner organization of the Defense Logistics Agency announced it has successfully completed a test run of a transportation system that could give DLA and its customers additional options for supplying the warfighter and other customers.

The 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) cargo facility contains numerous inbound and outbound cargo at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.

Dobbins serves as important hub for hurricane relief efforts

DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Dobbins Air Reserve Base website — The flightline resembled a truck stop gas station this week as 18 wheelers were lined up in several rows behind the Transportation Proficiency Center. Trucks carried cargo vital to the relief efforts currently underway in countries lying in the destructive path of Hurricane Maria.

JBSA-Lackland Kelly Field stands up ISB to support FEMA’s Hurricane Maria relief efforts

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Joint Base San Antonio website — The Federal Emergency Management Agency stood up an Incident Support Base at JBSA-Kelly Field to aid Hurricane Maria relief efforts with support from the 502nd Air Base Wing Sept. 21.
