Box Em Up, Ship Em Out

CAMP PENDLETON, CA — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the 1st Marine Logistics Group website — Pacific Horizon 2017 is a Maritime Prepositioning Force exercise designed to train I Marine Expeditionary Force and components of Naval Beach Group 1 Marines and Sailors on arrival and assembly operations, including how to conduct container operations and manage vehicle mobile loads.

U.S. Air Force Maj. Robert Riggs, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command air mobility liaison officer, assists in loading cargo aboard a C-17 aircraft at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. As MARSOC’s AMLO, Riggs provides a critical link of communication between the airlift and ground forces in the area of operations. He facilitated the mission from planning and coordination through hands-on facilitation by piloting the aircraft as it deployed and re-deployed two MARSOC units.

Air mobility squadron expedites the fight

TF Steel Knight keeps essential supplies moving for Exercise Anakonda

DRAWSKO-POMORSKIE TRAINING AREA, Poland — Soldiers from 39th Transportation Battalion arrived at Drawsko-Pomorskie training area May 10 to execute onward movement for exercise Anakonda 2016 and worked to accomplish that logistics mission during subsequent weeks.
