Retired DLA Energy’s General Counsel Martin Harty was inducted in to the DLA Energy Hall of Fame March 22. From 1975-1988, Harty played an influential role guiding the Agency through the unprecedented petroleum marketplace.

DLA Energy Commander visits Texas aerostat site

Two miles east of the Rio Grande, high above the desolate South Texas chaparral land, tethered surveillance balloons, filled with helium from DLA Energy Aerospace keep watch. Observing the large, low-altitude aircraft, a DLA Energy team visited the Tethered Aerostat Radar System site at El Indio, Texas, Sept. 29.
