Finding balance at the summit: Troop Support employee climbs Kilimanjaro

PHILADELPHIA — Not many people can claim that they have danced with an African tribe, climbed to the top of the highest peak in Africa and watched a sunset from above the clouds. But thanks to an adventurous spirit and a supportive workplace, Jeff Crow can make that claim. Crow, a material planner in the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Industrial Hardware supply chain and avid trekker from Colorado, decided he needed to take a trip to provide stability to his work-life balance - and a tropical vacation wasn’t going to do the trick. Reorganizing for employee development, future success

So leaders in the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Industrial Hardware supply chain found a way to help set up certain new employees for success.
