CON 090 “Boot Camp” boosts new acquisition pros’ knowledge, confidence
PHILADELPHIA — Employees entering the acquisition workforce at DLA Troop Support can now better prepare for the rigors of training required to become certified in their field through the “CON 090 Boot Camp.” With a focus on employee development, the boot camp helps new hires to overcome the pressures of the 30-day resident Defense Acquisition University “Federal Acquisition Regulation Fundamentals” course.

DLA Troop Support celebrates 219 years warfighter support in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA — Employees celebrated 219 years of DLA Troop Support's continuous logistics support to the United States July 6. Although the official “birth” of DLA may stem from the Oct. 1, 1961 creation of the Defense Supply Agency, DLA Troop Support ties its origins to the acquisition of the Schuylkill Arsenal in 1799.
