Employees can now donate to 2018 Combined Federal Campaign

Employees at the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support are able to make charitable contributions through the Office of Personnel Management’s Combined Federal Campaign now through Jan. 11, 2019. The CFC, a 57-year and running campaign, is the world’s largest workplace giving campaign, garnering more than $8.2 billion for charitable organizations.

CON 090 “Boot Camp” boosts new acquisition pros’ knowledge, confidence

Employees entering the acquisition workforce at DLA Troop Support can now better prepare for the rigors of training required to become certified in their field through the “CON 090 Boot Camp.” With a focus on employee development, the boot camp helps new hires to overcome the pressures of the 30-day resident Defense Acquisition University “Federal Acquisition Regulation Fundamentals” course.

DLA Troop Support celebrates 219 years warfighter support in Philadelphia

Employees celebrated 219 years of DLA Troop Support's continuous logistics support to the United States July 6. Although the official “birth” of DLA may stem from the Oct. 1, 1961 creation of the Defense Supply Agency, DLA Troop Support ties its origins to the acquisition of the Schuylkill Arsenal in 1799.
