Aviation - Cherry Point bids farewell to Neuman, welcomes Klemm as new commander

Cherry Point, North Carolina — Navy Cmdr. Keith Klemm assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation – Cherry Point, North Carolina, from Navy Cmdr. James Neuman, who retired after a 24-year Navy career June 16 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Col. Mark Hirschinger, chief, Army Customer Facing Division, Customer Operations Directorate, cuts the Army birthday cake June 13, 2017 with Sgt. Tom Katsiyiannis, 392nd Army Band, Fort Lee, Virginia, at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The cake ceremony is a long standing Army tradition where the soldier with longest time in service cuts the cake with the soldier with the least amount of time in service using the ceremonial military saber.
