Aviation’s WSPM team keeps Navy’s MH-53 flying

RICHMOND, Virginia — The U. S. Navy’s MH-53E Sea Dragon became operational in 1986 and is the only heavy-lift helicopter in Naval Aviation. Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Navy Customer Facing Division in the Customer Operations Directorate in Richmond, Virginia, is part of the team helping keep the MH-53 helicopter mission ready.

The three-minute video offers a glimpse of just one way DLA supports the warfighter every day.

DLA support praised by logisticians from Army global-response aviation unit in new video

RICHMOND, Va. — A new video in the Defense Logistics Agency’s “Logistics On Location” series highlights the support DLA Aviation personnel provide the Army’s 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

She enjoys working with employees to resolve pay questions and issues. She enjoys helping others and spends her free time volunteering with inner-city children and at her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.

Aviation customer service captain named DLA’s 2nd quarter CGO

Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter fiscal 2016, is DLA Aviation’s Air Force Capt. Broderick Morris, who is the B-2 weapons system program manager currently assigned to the Air Force Customer Facing Division in the Customer Operations Directorate. Morris was nominated and selected for his performance while deployed as a member of the DLA Support Team –Kuwait from January to March 2016.

DLA Aviation at Jacksonville’s employee Arthur Robertson, III, equipment specialist, in Customer Operations Directorate enjoys researching and finding solutions to problems. Robinson’s motto is own your processes, know your skillsets, and to be that "go to" subject matter expert.

Students learn about DLA careers

RICHMOND, Virginia — On July 14, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation hosted 40 rising junior and senior students from the Hanover Regional Governor’s School for Career and Technical Advancement three-week summer program. The students came to Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, to learn about the various career fields that encompass the DLA Aviation and DLA Installation Support at Richmond workforce.
