128th Aviation Brigade learns about DLA Aviation missions

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Richmond hosted a leadership professional development event for the 128th Aviation Brigade from Fort Eustis, Virginia Jan. 21, 2016. The training provided awareness and knowledge of DLA and how it interfaces with Army tactical units. The 128th conducts all Army Aviation maintenance training for enlisted and warrant officers and pushes about 6,000 students through the program annually.

Ogden material supply technician named DLA Aviation’s November Employee of the Month

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s November Employee of the Month (EOM) is Gregory LaRue. He serves as a material support technician for the Customer Operations Directorate of DLA Aviation at Ogden, Utah. DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Allan Day presented the award to LaRue during a ceremony via video teleconference Jan. 6.

DLA Aviation holds Resiliency Training: expands employees' skills in dealing with life pressures

A long-established initiative by the military services, resiliency training was offered for the first time at Defense Logistics Agency to Aviation employees at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, Dec. 16. This event introduced the resiliency concept and the resiliency tools available, including mental, physical, social, and spiritual training.
