Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation hosted more than 50 contract administrators from throughout the DLA enterprise and Defense Contract Management Agency for the 3rd Post Award Summit July 24-25. The summit was held on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.

Subsistence engages industry partners about ingredient restriction process

PHILADELPHIA — The event was held to increase industry’s understanding of the process involved in defining the services’ nutritional requirements and the rules and regulations DLA follows when buying on the warfighters’ behalf.

DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles’ Type III Navy Working Uniform Planning Team won DLA’s Team of the Year Award for their support of the Navy’s latest utility uniform transition. The cross-functional team met weekly to meet the Navy’s requirements, including an accelerated timeline and 400 distinct items encompassing varying sizes of five uniform items.

Embroiderer recognized for 26 years of flag making at DLA Troop Support

PHILADELPHIA — Hue Nguyen retired after 26 years working in the production of flags the agency provides, which also includes flags for military units.
