VA benefits team talks to Medical vets at DLA Troop Support

PHILADELPHIA — A VA benefits team was invited by the Medical culture improvement team to talk with the supply chain’s veterans.

DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles embroidery specialist Linda Le inspects the only 49-star presidential flag made during a visit from presidential flag collectors Chuck and Donna Douglas in late June in Philadelphia. DLA embroiders are the sole authorized producers of the current 50-star presidential and vice presidential flags.

DLA Troop Support celebrates 219 years warfighter support in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — Employees celebrated 219 years of DLA Troop Support's continuous logistics support to the United States July 6. Although the official “birth” of DLA may stem from the Oct. 1, 1961 creation of the Defense Supply Agency, DLA Troop Support ties its origins to the acquisition of the Schuylkill Arsenal in 1799.

Medical director says farewell after three decades of service
