Troop Support service members visit local veteran patients

PHILADELPHIA — DLA Troop Support volunteers spent time with veteran patients to recognize them for their service at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

C&T supported the U.S. Agency for International Development’s humanitarian support request for 2,500 winter clothing kits, including boots, socks, coats and blankets by mid-January.

Troop Support commander recognizes employee excellence at awards ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — The commander of DLA Troop Support recognized 137 employees during a quarterly awards ceremony Dec. 19.

Seventeen DLA Troop Support retirees with 638 combined years of service were honored during a retirement ceremony Dec. 21. The group, standing with DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Mark Simerly, was the largest to retire during 2017.
