Distribution’s Bahrain site takes on a new Class IV material mission

MANAMA, Bahrain — DLA Distribution Bahrain began a new Class IV material mission July 16 providing more efficient and effective warfighter support. Class IV materials consist of construction materials, including installed equipment and all fortification and barrier materials.

Navy Cmdr. Julie Hunter, former commander of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Bahrain, has been selected for the rank of captain.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Navy Cmdr. Julie Hunter, former commander of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Bahrain, has been selected for the rank of captain.
