Energy efficiency contract awarded for Hurlburt Field

Cannon Air Force Base receives energy conservation upgrades

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, New Mexico — Cannon AFB will have access to more resilient, efficient, and reliable energy thanks to a DLA Energy $19 million energy savings performance contract.

The fill stands and pump stations on Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, look shiny and new after receiving restorative coatings. The project is just a small part of an ongoing effort to protect vital fuel systems from the corrosion that pervades infrastructure on the tropical island. Tinker completes construction for the Air Force’s largest ESPC project

The Energy Savings Performance Contract project will improve energy efficiency and resiliency for the base.

National Energy Action Month offers DLA Energy opportunities

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — October is National Energy Action Month, and amid the fall foliage, this month offers Defense Logistics Agency Energy an opportunity to highlight its support to the warfighter and its management of energy resources needed to protect the nation.
