DLA Aviation military members recognized for excellence in warfighter support

RICHMOND, VA — The winners of the Defense Logistics Agency 53rd Annual Employee Recognition Awards program were announced Dec. 5 and DLA Aviation was well represented in the military personnel category. The award recognizes superior performance between Oct. 1, 2019 – Sept. 30, 2020.

Professionalism and teamwork: September employees of the month instrumental in meeting the DLA mission

RICHMOND, Va. — Christine Colantoni, an equipment specialist in the Customer Operations Directorate, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation - Cherry Point, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Cherry Point, North Carolina, and Traci Marshall, a contracting officer team lead in the Strategic Acquisition Programs Directorate, DLA Aviation at Warner Robins, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, were both named DLA Aviation Employee of the Month for the month of September.

DLA Aviation soars above the competition, named best of the best in Defense Department Supply Chain Excellence

RICHMOND, VA — The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment named Defense Logistics Agency Aviation as the winner of the 2019 Department of Defense Award for Supply Chain Excellence. The award honors organizations that made exceptional progress through innovative development or adoption of best supply chain practices. It also provides a showcase for innovative management and technology tools used to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness to enhance warfighter support.
