Richmond, Virginia — Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 8 – 14 and to kick it off, our Fire and Emergency Services personnel handed out a pamphlet on smoke alarm safety as a reminder to help keep employees safe at work and at home.

Planning is key to reacting to workplace emergencies

Richmond, Virginia — September is National Preparedness Month and Defense Logistics Agency Installation Support at Richmond, Virginia’s Fire and Emergency Services personnel are getting the word out to employees to plan and prepare for disasters. Being prepared can prevent employees from incurring harm and assist in their ability to provide continued support for the mission and to the warfighter.

Daylight Saving Time begins March 12 at 2 a.m. DLA Installation Support at Richmond’s Fire and Emergency Services reminds employees to “spring forward” and set clocks forward by one hour. DLA Installation Support at Susquehanna F&ES awarded international reaccreditation status

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — DLA Installation Support at Susquehanna, Pa., Fire and Emergency Services has received Accredited Agency status with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International for meeting the criteria established through the CFAI’s voluntary self-assessment and accreditation program. DLA is one of over 200 agencies to achieve Internationally Accredited Agency status with the CFAI and the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc.
