FORT BRAGG, North Carolina — Army Col. Michael Talley, former commander of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Tobyhanna, Pa., was promoted to the rank of brigadier general at a ceremony held at Marshall Hall, U.S. Army Forces Command in Fort Bragg, N.C., on Aug. 5.

David "D.J." Smith Sanchez makes sure he clears the bar while competing as a member of the Auburn University track team. He is competing as a member of the Puerto Rican National Olympic Team at this summer’s Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro in honor of his maternal grandfather who born in Puerto Rico and passed away two years ago. His dad, David Smith, is a customer support technician at DLA Aviation at Warner Robins, Georgia.
