POW/MIA remembrance ceremony held at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Supply Center Columbus held a solemn yet heartfelt ceremony Sept. 16 inside the Building 20 auditorium in honor of POW/MIA day.

Jets cannot fly without supply

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Misawa Air Base website — There are several shops within the 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron tasked with providing responsive logistics support to the F-16 Fighting Falcons’ worldwide expeditionary operations. Amongst the shops is the aircraft parts store and the individuals who oversee every item being attached to an F-16.

As the presidential and congressional elections approach, federal employees must abide by the restrictions on political activity set forth in the Hatch Act. To that end, DLA’s Office of General Counsel and Office of Public Affairs are offering periodic guidance — answers to common questions that employees may have about what they can and can’t say and do in everyday situations.

Norfolk distribution center supports annual “Run with the Chiefs” event

NORFOLK, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Norfolk, Va., recently opened its streets to support Naval Station Norfolk’s “Run with the Chiefs” event. This year’s 5k run had more than 1,000 participants, and was a celebration of past and present chief petty officers and selectees.
