DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Charles Hamilton recognizes Deborah Cromwell-Bush as the DLA Director’s Strategic Process Excellence Goal winner for the first quarter of fiscal 2017 during a ceremony in DLA Troop Support’s auditorium June 6. PHILADELPHIA — A DLA Troop Support employee earned a Director's Strategic Goal Award for designing databases to better track, categorize and manage workflow in the Industrial Hardware supply chain.

Installation Support enforces Real ID Act for Virginia license holders beginning July 10

Richmond, Virginia — Employees following the Real ID Act implementation for family members whose only ID is issued by Virginia need to know that the extension issued for Virginia by the Department of Homeland Security expired June 6. Virginia is one of several states currently non-compliant with the Act.

TEXARKANA, Texas — Army Lt. Col. Jeffrey P. Chamberlain assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Red River, Texas, in a June 16 ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Distribution Susquehanna commander Army Col. Brad J. Eungard.

Williams assumes responsibility as DLA director

Army Maj. Gen. (Promotable) Darrell Williams was promoted to lieutenant general and became the 19th director of the Defense Logistics Agency June 16 in a ceremony at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.

Janice Samuel is the acting director of the DLA EEO and Diversity Office.

New DLA video series touts benefits of diversity, inclusion

A new series of videos available on the DLA home page promotes the benefits of diversity and inclusion at the Defense Logistics Agency.

Land and Maritime review identifies efficiencies to improve overall agency productivity

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A team of subject matter experts completed an intensive, week-long internal review at Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime to identify best practices to apply across the agency.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Col. Mark Hirschinger, chief, Army Customer Facing Division, Customer Operations Directorate, cuts the Army birthday cake June 13, 2017 with Sgt. Tom Katsiyiannis, 392nd Army Band, Fort Lee, Virginia, at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The cake ceremony is a long standing Army tradition where the soldier with longest time in service cuts the cake with the soldier with the least amount of time in service using the ceremonial military saber.
